APEX will host it’s Awards Weeks for all students as follows:

June 4th – 9th – All Parent/Child, GymKids, Adv GymKids, Youth Fitness & STARS

June 11th – 16th – All Little Gems, Recreational, Advanced Recreational, Tumbling & Parkour

Parents will be invited into the gym to observe their child’s class. The students will perform for you to see what they have learned this year. All students will be awarded a medal and get to stand on the awards stand for photos. Bring your camera!!

Also, Attendance Trophies are available at the front desk for pick up when you pay your June tuition. All students who have been in class since September will get a trophy. Trophies are available for sale after June 5th for $10

APEX Gymnastics Girls  Level 9s had a winning weekend at the Level 9 National Gymnastics Championships held in Landover, MD the weekend of May 4 – 6, 2012.  All of the APEX gymnasts medaled in events. Bridgette Schaal finished 5th on vault, 12th on floor and15th in the all around at her first National competition.  Also competing in her first National competition, Madison O’Braitis was 4th on bars, 8th on beam and 9th all around. Region 7 champion Maddy Scozzie finished 9th on vault, 7th on beam, 10th  on floor and 6th in the all around. She  is a senior at Broad Run High School and will compete for SUNY Cortland next season.   Over 300 athletes competed for a National title over the course of the weekend. Gymnasts also attended a dinner cruise and were outfitted in National attire.
