APEX Boys Crowned State Champions
APEX Boys Team Members Aaron Meland, Chase Clingman and Tanner Collins were crowned state champions at the Virginia Mens Gymnastics Championships held on March 10 & 11 in Richmond, Virginia. Over 200 gymnasts competed. Logan Voegele was also named to the Virginia State Regional Team and APEX qualified 14 boys to Regionals! Individual results are listed below. Great job boys and good luck at Regionals!
Level 10 – 3rd place team – Aaron Meland – 1st floor, 2nd vault, 1st parallel bars, 2nd high bar, 1st all around- Hunter Voegele – 2nd pommel horse, 4th rings, 4th vault – Matthew Rubright – 3rd pommel horse, 5th floor, 7th all around
Level 9 – 2nd place team – Chester DeWolfe – 3rd floor, 6th parallel bars, 8th all around – Nathan Clingman – 5th pommel horse – Ian Sicking – 6th pommel horse
Level 7 – Chase Clingman – 2nd pommel horse, 2nd rings, 2nd parallel bars, 2nd high bar, 1st all around

2011 BWI –
Fairland Boys Gymnastics 10/11 December 2011 Laurel, MD
The Black and Silver are beltway bandits! We took a trip around I-495 to Laurel, MD and the Fairland Boys Gymnastics BWI (10-11 December 2011) and came away with six All-Around titles. Alex S, Kyle, Chase, Logan, Tanner, and Tyler all
took first place in the All-Around in their levels and age divisions. This was another good sized meet with 15+ clubs and 8-20 competitors per age division.
Apex top three finishers are below and as always several other medals were earned by our boys.
