Located in the Leesburg Airpark Business Center we are easily accessible from both Route 7 and the Dulles Toll Road and just minutes from Ashburn via Sycolin Road (Get directions)
Our 28,000 square foot air conditioned facility is unique in that there is 12,000 square feet dedicated to recreational students. The team gymnasts have their own 14,000 square foot facility and dance room as well as private bathrooms, changing areas and lockers. Office space and observation rooms occupy the remainder of our facility.
The recreational gym is well equipped with multiple sets of apparatus. We have 6 sets of uneven bars as well as several low bar stations, tumble track bar, parallel bars, pit bar and strap bar. We have 6 regulation balance beams, as well as many low beams. We are equipped with a 40 x 40 spring loaded floor and a 40 X 40 cheer floor, a tumbling strip into deep foam pit, a vaulting runway and 2 vaulting tables. Our deep foam pit allows tumbling, vaulting, rings, beam & bar dismounts and rope climb all landing into soft foam. It is the ultimate in safety design. We also have an Olympic trampoline, two preschool trampolines, an air track, velcro wall & moon bounce. We have a separate dance room and a birthday party room.
Our team gym includes it’s own 45 X 45 spring floor, four sets of competition bars, seven competition balance beams and 2 low training beams. This gym houses it’s own 40 foot tumble track and 40 foot rod floor for more advanced tumbling skills. There is a competition vault onto a hard surface and multiple vault stations. Finally, the team gym houses six pommel horse stations and two sets of competition parallel bars. Our Tumbling and Trampoline students have two tumble tracks, a 60 foot rod floor, an Olympic trampoline and a double mini trampoline. This facility also has a Warrior Fitness room overlooking the gym with a separate entrance and large private bathrooms for boys and girls. All team gymnasts have lockers to keep their belongings in.
Our boys equipment includes 2 high bars, 3 sets of rings, ring tower, multiple parallel bars and pommel horse stations in both the team gym and recreational gym.
We have a dedicated preschool space called The GymZone for those just starting out in gymnastics. This specially designed space is perfect for our youngest customers allowing them to be separated from the crowds. It has it’s own entrance, bathrooms & floor to ceiling windows running the entire length of the space. Parents can easily observe from the exterior windows. Outfitted with mini trampolines, bars, beams and floor exercise area this is the perfect space to get into the gym in a small group atmosphere! All afternoon and Saturday Gymkids classes will be held in the Gym Zone!
Our entire facility is carpeted and we have separate boys and girls locker areas. Parents can watch their child’s class from our observation area which is air conditioned. The team gym has a separate viewing area with its own entrance. We have free WiFi for our customers. APEX is a USAG Member Club, Safe Sport Certified and has Safety Certified coaches on the premises at all times. We are proud to have three former Olympians on staff.
